Second Sunday partnered with Rugby Australia to design and execute interactive fan zones during the 2021 and 2022 Test Rugby seasons. These activations transformed match days into immersive experiences, engaging fans beyond the game.
our approach
An extension of the Rugby Australia team, we managed end-to-end production, including concept creation, technical staging, AV setup, and on-site logistics. Each fan zone featured live music, interactive games, player meet-and-greets, and branded activations.

The fan zones successfully increased pre-game engagement and contributed to a vibrant atmosphere at each venue. Positive feedback highlighted the enhanced fan experience, with increased dwell times and engagement reflecting the activations’ impact.
