Second Sunday got our festival on as the local site and event management team for Souled Out Festival 2024 held at Parramatta Park on Friday, 22 March, presented by Whatslively.
With the R&B festival scene in Australia gaining momentum, The Crescent came alive with the inaugural sold-out show, attracting 15,000 punters eager to see highly anticipated international headliners Bryson Tiller, PartyNextDoor, and Summer Walker.
The team at Second Sunday successfully collaborated with Greater Sydney Parklands (GSP), key stakeholders and trusted suppliers, whilst adhering to park-specific regulations, to build a safe, vibrant, and functional site for this packed-out event – marking the largest festival gathering Parramatta Park had seen since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The team were pleased to work closely with FestCo, EventCo and GSP in reigniting live music within Parramatta Park, witnessing The Crescent amphitheatre come to life as patrons sang along to each lyric.
